Water: A seasonal river flow through the farm, of which accommodates a large pools of water. A second earth dam and several sealed cement dams gravity feeds the drinking troughs with water for game and cattle. Three equipped borehole supply the house and water troughs with clean Waterberg water, purified by nature and ready for human consumption. Rainfall: 550 - 600mm annually.

Winter - max. 21 ºC and min. 6 ºC.
Climate: The Waterberg Vaalwater area has a unique climate - something between sub tropic and lowveld bushveld. Tobacco and citrus is cultivated in this area. The summer night temperatures drop down to below 20 ºC, which makes it bearable without a need of airconditioning.
Developments: This Lodge is a nature oriented, peaceful, bush experience. There is no buzz of traffic here and you are deep in the African bush where the only buzz is that of the ancient rhythm of the insects and it’s varied inhabitants.
